Tip #5: Breast Cancer Risk? Eat Broccoli.

Broccoli contains indole-3-carbinol (I-3-C), an antioxidant and stimulator of detoxifying enzymes, which has been shown to suppress breast and cervical cell growth. I-3-C is extremely important to women because it favorably changes the ratio of “bad” estrogen to “good” estrogen.
